Chicken Rotisserie = Perfect Chicken. The rotisserie roasting is the best way for cooking chicken. The slow rotating action circulates the juices inside the chicken, and the heat is distributed evenly. You don't have overly dry chicken breast, while other parts are not fully cooked. Lower heat 325F means longer cooking time, but the net result is much tender meat. The meat literally falls off the bones, its that tender. The proteins in the meat breakdown with heat and time. So while high temperature cooking gives you cooked meat faster, it lacks the time to let the proteins to fully breakdown. Make sure you tie up the chicken legs and wings, very important, because legs and wings flapping around loose, will burn to charcoal. Keeping them tied and close to the rest of the chicken will make them cook uniformly. Put a pan under the chicken to prevent direct fire, the pan also catches the fat so you don't have flare up in the grill that will burn the chicken. Cooking time about 2 hours for a 3lb chicken. You might not have considered making chicken drumsticks in the crockpot before but why not? They come out succulent and tender and you can leave them alone while they cook; that means no more sweating over a hot stove!

Some recipes will tell you to cook the drumsticks in seasoned flour and then add some liquid and others will tell you to add everything to the slow cooker, perhaps browning the poultry first, and then leave it all to cook. The skin does not go crispy in a crockpot so remove it before you begin.

Barbecue flavor drumsticks are really good and you can make these by combining half a cup of soy sauce with a couple of minced garlic cloves, eight ounces of tomato sauce and quarter of a cup of brown sugar.

Mix this sauce with twelve skinless drumsticks and cook on low for eight hours. This is a really simple recipe and the results are great. You can serve this at a buffet or even as a hot appetizer.

Recipe For Teriyaki Chicken Drumsticks

This recipe gives your poultry an authentic Asian flavor and you can use this sauce for pork instead of chicken if you prefer. These are nice served hot from the slow cooker or chilled. When they finish cooking the meat is falling off the bone so giving them half an hour in the refrigerator might be a good idea if you are serving them as finger food, as the meat will hold on to the bone better when they are cold.

What You Need:

25 skinless chicken drumsticks 1 bottle thick teriyaki sauce 2 teaspoons salt 3 tablespoons Chinese five spice powder 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 1 tablespoon brown sugar

How To Make It:

Stir the spices together, then roll the chicken in the mixture and add them to the slow cooker. Cook for six hours on low. Add six tablespoons of the teriyaki sauce over the top, then cook for an hour more. Transfer the cooked chicken on to a serving platter and drizzle some more sauce over the top.

This Italian style recipe serves four people and you will love the combination of tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic, herbs, and other wonderful ingredients. Serve this meal with rice or any kind of potatoes.

What You Need:

8 chicken drumsticks 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 3 tablespoons flour 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 chopped onion 4 oz sliced mushrooms 15 oz Italian style tomato sauce 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1/4 cup cold water 2 minced garlic cloves 1 chopped green bell pepper

Procedure:
Step 1:
First, select the type of chicken which has to be barbecued. Legs and thighs are preferred by some while others like skinless and boneless chicken breasts. Step 2:

Step 6:
Now the grill has to be made ready while the chicken is baking. If a charcoal grill is being used, ignite the coals and they should be left to burn until a white coating of ash appears on the coals. In case of gas grill, it has to be preheated to a medium heat temperature of 360 degrees. The grate also has to be sprayed.

Step 7:
Put the seasoned chicken on the rack and cover it with the grill lid. It should be given at least half an hour to cook. With time, it has to be checked and turned after every five minutes for ensuring that it is evenly cooked. The pieces can also be rotated to balance the cool and hot spots on the grill.

Step 8:
The BBQ has to be glazed again with the seasoning nearly 10 minutes before taking chicken off the grill.

Step 9:
After grilling, the chicken pieces can be checked with a meat thermometer. The bone should be never touched when the thermometer is inserted. The internal temperature of the meat must be 175 degrees.

Step 10:
Finally, the BBQ chicken is ready. It can be served with delicious side dishes like coleslaw, pasta salad, potato salads, baked beans and biscuits.

Preparing BBQ chicken is not a boring work, it is fun and these easy steps will help to make a perfectly barbecued chicken that everyone will love!
